Junkables.com is an online antique vintage collectables store. It is a family owned and operated business. We are a close family and enjoy working together. We have a huge warehouse of antiques and collectibles items plus tons of vintage (collectibles) that my father has collected for more than 20 years. He started out going to the local flea markets buying antiques, collectibles, vintage items on the weekends and it just took on a life of its own from there. Anyone who has collected anything can understand how fast it can get out of hand. He now goes to flea markets all over the country.
We are doing things a little different than other online auctions and antique stores. Junkables allows antique dealers to add their items to the site without charging any insertion or sellers fees. We hope to generate enough income from advertisements to continue not to charge the sellers. One of our biggest struggles has been going through the thousand of boxes of antiques, collectibles, vintage items and putting each item on the website and in the database so we can locate each item when we need to. We have added more and more antiques and changed the layout of the website a few times and continue to add collectibles to the site weekly. Junkables.com is fast becoming a huge online antique community with all types of collectors and dealers. We are in the process of adding an online calendar of events so we can keep everyone informed on the upcoming flea markets and where the best sales are.
