Time Was Antiques Successful Buying Trip Time Was Antiques has just returned from a successful buying trip with lots of new to the market English antiques and collectibles
And did we have a great time!!! Because of the current favorable exchange rates we acquired a wonderful array of fine English antiques and collectibles.
As specialists in Shelley China, we are always looking for more and did find some items. We will be adding some cups and saucers as they arrive. The patterns include chintzes, Scenic Surrey, Thistle, Woodland, Heather, Sheraton and more. Shapes include Footed Oleander, low Oleander, Ripon, Old and New Cambridge, Perth Henley and more.
We also acquired horse brasses, knife rests, English real photo postcards of famous places, linens, tea caddy spoons, Wedgwood, teacups and saucers and lots of fun as well as lovely English items.
It's like Christmas again when the cartons arrive! It's amazing how you forgotten some of the treasures you have found. We will be adding items to our webstores, www.timewasantiques.net and www.antiquesattimewas.com just as soon as we can get them unwrapped, inventoried, photographed and listed.
Wedgwood is celebrating their 250th anniversary this year and has just opened a new Wedgwood Museum in Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent England which is a joy to behold. Boy would I like to have THAT collection! Happy Anniversary Wedgwood!!!
