Buy, Sell Gold at Santa Clara Expo, April 2 - 5, 2009 Collectors, investors and the general public will be able to conveniently buy and sell gold coins and gold estate jewelry at the Santa Clara Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo, April 2 - 5, 2009.
(Santa Clara, California) -- The recent big increase in precious metals prices has been described as "the new Gold Rush." Collectors, investors and the general public will be able to conveniently buy and sell gold coins, gold estate jewelry and "scrap" gold, such as dental gold, at the Santa Clara Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo (www.SantaClaraExpo.com) in the Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great America Parkway, April 2 - 5, 2009.
"We've made special arrangements with Alhambra Coin Center, one of California's largest buyers of gold, to have their expert appraisers at the show to purchase scrap gold, coins and jewelry for cash from the public as well as offer to exchange it for gold bullion coins. The Santa Clara Expo will be 'the' place for the public to take advantage of the big increase in gold’s value the past year," said Ronald J. Gillio, Expo General Chairman.
Gillio pointed out that Alhambra Coin Center President, Mal Varner, is a member of the Professional Numismatists Guild, a non-profit organization composed of the country’s top dealers. Guild members must adhere to a strict code of ethics in the buying and selling of numismatic items and precious metals. Gillio is a Past President of the organization that was founded in 1953.
More than 400 dealers will be at the Santa Clara Expo buying and selling rare coins, paper money, postage stamps, postcards, autographs, historical documents, antiques, estate jewelry and vintage sportscards. A gold coin door prize will be given away each day of the four-day show.
Superior Galleries of Beverly Hills will conduct the official auction of rare coins and paper money. A children's treasure hunt will be conducted between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.
