New direct train service from New York City to Atlantic City will make the trip to the Atlantique City show, March 27-28, 2009 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, easier than ever. The long-awaited direct service started on Feb. 6, with introductory one-way ticket prices set at $50 for coach seats and $75 for first class.
The train originates at New York Penn Station. Customers in Northern New Jersey can hop on at the only other stop- Newark, New Jersey. Long Island residents can take the Long Island Railroad and connect to the train in Manhattan.
“This new train service will literally deliver people to the convention center door in 2 1/2 hours, as the train station is housed inside the Atlantic City Convention Center,” says Eric Bradley, show producer of Atlantique City. “Direct train service combined with Atlantique City's free furniture shipping within 100 miles makes the trip to Atlantic City a pleasure. No worries about driving in bad weather or traffic jams! Plus, with the special room rate at the Sheraton that is directly across the street-you have the makings for a stress-free weekend away.”
Online ticket sales for Atlantique City are now taking place at atlantiquecity.com. Buyers are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to take advantage of early admission and $5 off the on-site ticket prices.
