Atlantique City, New Jersey’s largest indoor antiques & collectibles event will return to its original once-a-year schedule starting in 2009. The show will return to the Atlantic City Convention Center March 28-29, 2009 and continue as a March-dated event going forward.
“We are constantly evaluating our business to ensure we serve the marketplace in the best possible way,” explains Show Producer Eric Bradley of F+W Media. “Presenting Atlantique City once a year will renew interest in the show from collectors and dealers over the long term. It will solidify Atlantique City as the destination show it is and help dealers maximize their investment in exhibiting there. Atlantique City began as a once-a-year event 23 years ago, we expanded when necessary and now we are returning to that footprint. We are evolving in pace with the industry.“
The March 2009 Atlantique City Show expects 400+ exhibitors of art, furniture, jewelry and vintage fashion, pottery, porcelain, glass, dolls, toys, silver and more. It's a haven for collectors and decorators with objects and styles ranging from colonial to contemporary.
Atlantique City is considered by many dealers to be one of the easiest indoor shows to do because of drive-in set up that takes place over two days. Many dealers attend the show for wholesale buying opportunities during set up days.
Atlantique City will continue to offer attendees valuable services such as free furniture delivery within a 100-mile radius, free appraisals, drawings for shopping sprees and deep discounts on the latest antiques and collectibles books. A comprehensive multi-media marketing campaign includes advertising in daily newspapers, television, community-themed magazines and weekly papers. “We are also having a lot of success using email and Web communications to reach a wider audience more frequently,” explains Bradley.
