AntiqueWeek to Offer Annual Scholarship AntiqueWeek partnering with the Foundation for Appraisal Education to further education in the antiques industry.
KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. February 10, 2009— AntiqueWeek is partnering with the Foundation for Appraisal Education to offer a scholarship for individuals that want to advance their skills in personal property appraising. Associate Publisher, Tony Gregory said, “I am very happy to have the opportunity to partner with such a great organization with similar goals in these areas. This scholarship will provide an opportunity for individuals to further their education and give back to the antique community.”
The AntiqueWeek Appraisal Scholarship will be a $1000 award, annually. The recipient will be chosen by a selection committee made up of members from the Foundation and AntiqueWeek. The open scholarship period will be from January 1 until June 1 each year. The selection committee will award the scholarship each September.
